“…learning from her was a gift …”

I took lessons with Cate as an adult student just learning piano. It is very hard to start this as an adult and is a most humbling experience. Cate was wonderful. She is kind and patient and understanding. I expected to be embarrassed as I struggled with simple technique in front of such a talented musician, but she was nothing but sweet and encouraging. She was easy to contact and accommodating to my crazy schedule. What I truly appreciated was how she tailored the lessons to what I wanted to learn by working with me to choose the perfect music to get me motivated and excited to play. She clearly loves her craft and learning from her was a gift I was sad to give up when her family relocated.
